If you’re looking for a quick photo, the old iron arch over the main platform is a nice backdrop, especially when the sun hits it in the late afternoon. The local mango lassi stall is also a quick snack stop. If you have a little extra time, a 30 minute walk to Janakpur Dham is doable and gives you a taste of the temple’s architecture. By the way, if you ever stay in Darbhanga, HOTEL G.V HERITAGE is a decent option about 14 km away.
