If you only have a few hours, the Lower Manair Dam is quicker to reach and lets you stroll the 20 minute perimeter while spotting the small boats. Elgandal Fort takes a bit longer to walk through but gives a sharper sense of 16th century architecture. A short 15 minute walk to Ujwala Park is a nice green break before you head back. If you need a place to rest afterward, consider staying at the Lemon Tree Premier Vijayawada.
