If you head out from Yuksom right after sunrise you’ll catch the mist still hugging the stone walls and the murals in soft light. The thangkas and the old reliquary are best seen when the temple is quiet. After the visit, a quick stop at The Elgin Mount Pandim Pelling gives you a comfortable break before heading back to Yuksom.
