A good way to cover the museum and temple in one go is to start at Bhuri Singh Museum at 9 am, then walk south past the old fort walls. The path takes about 30 minutes and the fort gate is a nice photo stop before you reach the Laxmi Narayan Temple. If you decide to head to Khajjiar, staying overnight at Fortune Khajjiar gives you extra time to explore the meadows and return to Chamba relaxed.
