A good time is early morning around sunrise the light is soft and the palace towers look dramatic against the green. The course is open 24 hours so you can shoot at night too, but be aware that large tripod setups are usually not allowed on the greens. A simple route is to walk from the palace gate straight onto the front fairway, then turn right to frame the palace in the background while keeping the fairway in the foreground. If you’re staying nearby, the President Hotel is just a kilometre away and easy to get to from the course.
