If you’re looking for a quick bite right near the airport, there are a few cafés that open around 3 pm. They serve simple local dishes like momos and tea, so you won’t have to travel far. After that, a short walk to the Leh Palace is doable, but you might feel a bit wind blown after the flight. A gentler option is to head to the market area near the airport, stroll through the stalls, and then relax in a quiet corner of Hotel Rewa Ladakh, which is only a few minutes away and offers a comfortable lounge where you can unwind before the rest of your trip.
