If you’re tight on time, try hitting Mullayanagiri at sunrise the trail opens around 5 am so you finish by mid morning and can walk a coffee estate that opens at 7 am. The wildlife sanctuary is best visited early in the day to catch the animals before the heat picks up. A stay at Hotel Aadrika keeps everything within a kilometre and lets you hop on any of those short drives.
