If you’re keen on seeing the sunrise glow on the eastern facades, you could head back to Bhubaneswar after the 4 pm walk, stay at Hotel O Saket Homes, and return early next morning for full daylight. The early morning light makes the northern gate and lesser known vihara cluster easier to see before crowds arrive.
