If you’re staying near Rupnagar, a quick stop at Hotel Sarai Bharatgarh gives a comfortable base before heading back. The fort’s watchtowers are best visited early in the morning when the light is soft and the air is cooler, making the panoramic views of the fields even more striking. After the fort, a short walk to Ramgarhia Bagh park is a nice way to unwind before you head back to the station.
