A half day is usually enough for the chapel’s interior you can walk the altar and frescoes in about 30 to 45 minutes. From there you have plenty of time to hit Bom Jesus Basilica and Se Cathedral, then maybe finish the day at Anjuna Beach or a quick stop at Treebo Rock Valley if you’re staying nearby. This keeps the day relaxed while covering all the key sites.
