A quick walk from the statue takes you to the Sri Kshetra Temple, whose courtyard is a nice spot to stretch. If you’re into nature, a short drive leads to the nearby tea plantations where you can see the processing sheds and maybe sample a fresh cup. If you need a place to rest afterward, Mudra midtown rooms and suites in Kalasa is a short 23 km trip and offers comfortable accommodation.
