You could book a room at Sunshine International Boarding & Lodging in Belur it’s only a short auto ride from the bus stand and gives you quick access to the temple and museum. After sunrise at Hoysaleswara, head straight to the museum when it opens at 10 a.m. Then hop on an auto to the Belur Chennakeshava Temple; the drive takes about ten minutes. For sunset, the small hill south of Hoysaleswara where the Kaveri bends offers a quiet spot to watch the river and temple silhouette. A nearby dhaba near the temple entrance serves fresh idlis and filter coffee that pair nicely with a late afternoon break.
