The Hola Mohalla usually wraps up in early April, so if you arrive a couple of days before the last week of March you’ll still catch the main events. A convenient stay is Hotel Sarai Bharatgarh in Rupnagar it’s only about 11 km from the gurdwara complex and close to the shared auto pick ups. If you prefer a quieter base, staying in Chandigarh and taking the early morning train to Rupnagar each day keeps you within an hour’s commute. Does anyone know if the festival schedule changes that year?
