Since the trek usually starts in late August, by the first week of September most of the early season trekkers are already back in the valley. The trail then feels almost deserted, and the village itself is quieter than any other month. If you’re staying in Sangla, Hotel Batseri is a convenient base and still feels relaxed during that period. Have you considered timing your trek for the first week of September?
