You could aim to reach the sanctuary by 6:30 am, spend about two hours by the lake and spotting deer, then head to Jataun Shiv Temple around 9:00 am. The 10 km drive takes roughly 20 minutes, so you’ll finish the temple by noon. If you’d like a break before returning, a quick detour to Chillaru Spa & Resort in Solan is a nice way to stretch and refresh.
