If you’re pressed for time, head there early in the morning. The 1.5 km walk to the main chamber usually finishes before any late afternoon showers that can start around 4 pm in early October. Afterward, a quick drive to Wildernest Nature Resort lets you dry off, grab a drink, and rest before heading back.
