If you’re staying at Surya Heritage Hotels you can hop on a local bus from the Parassinikadavu stop; the fare is just a few rupees and the bus runs every 20 30 minutes. After the temple you might also walk a short distance to the nearby Kottayil Palace ruins, which are free to explore and give a quick glimpse of local heritage.
