If you’re staying at Aakash Rooms and Cottages, you’re only about a 500 meter walk to the gardens. Try arriving just before noon the crowds thin out, and you’ll get a quieter stroll through the flower displays. After the show, a short 10 minute walk takes you to the Rose Garden’s tea pavilion and then straight to Ooty Lake for a relaxed paddle before heading back.
