A simple option is the guesthouse right on the main road in Thangri just a 20 minute walk from the river. From Kaza you can book a local taxi or a shared jeep that drops you at the Thangri stop; the drive takes about an hour. The walk is flat, so you’ll be beside the Spiti River without a long trek. If you prefer a lodge farther out, Echor Mud Huts in Tabo still works, but the Thangri stay is closer to the water.
