If you’re staying at Time Square Boutique Hotel, you can hop on the 10 minute shuttle to Vembanad right after the fall hike. The Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary usually opens at 9 am, so you could hit the falls first, then walk to the sanctuary for a quick bird watching stroll before lunch. Does anyone know the exact backwater departure window for October?
