If you’re already in Bomdila, a quick 30 minute taxi hop from the town to Mechukha Bus Stand is the most convenient. The local drivers know the exact turn at the Mechukha turnpike and usually charge a fixed rate. Also, the shuttle from Awoo Resort in Bomdila drops directly at the bus stand, which can be cheaper than arranging a separate cab from Itanagar. If you’re planning a visit during the monsoon, it’s worth asking the shuttle operator about any schedule changes or road closures.
