The shrine you see at the base was carved by the Kamma tribe in the early 1800s as a thank you to the waters for protecting their cattle. A short walk from the falls leads to the Guntur Fort ruins, where stone carvings echo the same healing legend. If you’re staying in town, Treebo Abhi Suites is a convenient spot to explore both the shrine and the fort.
