A quick walk through the Descent of the Ganges takes about 45 to 60 minutes for a family, especially if you pause for photos. For lunch, there are a few small stalls right by the entrance that serve dosas and idlis, and a quick bite at the nearby beachside café a few steps away is convenient. Visiting early in the morning, around 8 to 9 a.m., usually keeps the crowds light, and late afternoons after 4 p.m. also tend to be less busy.
