Hola Mohalla usually falls in the last week of March. From Chandigarh International Airport, a taxi to the railway station followed by a one hour train to Rupnagar gets you close to the gurdwaras. If you want to stay nearby, Hotel Sarai Bharatgarh is only about 11 km from the town centre and keeps you within a short auto ride of the complex. If you prefer a quieter base, staying in Chandigarh and taking the early train each day works, but you’ll spend more time commuting.
