You might want to try the 18th green’s front tees in the late afternoon. The sun hits the palace from the side, giving a nice rim light on the towers while the green stays sharp. A 24mm lens works well from that spot, and a lightweight monopod will keep you compliant with the staff rules. If you’re staying near the palace, the President Hotel is only a kilometre away and has good parking for a quick break. What time of day are you planning to shoot?
