A quick tip: the Halebidu Archaeological Museum opens at 10 a.m., so after a sunrise visit to Hoysaleswara you can head straight there and then catch an auto to Belur. In Belur, the Chennakeshava Temple is only a ten minute ride away. If you’re staying near the bus stand, Sunshine International Boarding & Lodging is a short auto away and has a dhaba that serves fresh idlis and filter coffee perfect for a late afternoon break.
