A good spot to stay is Vishnu Lok near Dehradun Railway Station it’s only a short walk to the city centre and gives quick access to the roads heading up the hills. From there you can hit Lacchiwala first, then head to Robber’s Cave and finish at Sahastradhara all in one day if you start early.
