If you’re willing to spend a few extra hours, you can catch a direct bus from Calicut airport to Wayanad bus stand it usually takes around 8 to 9 hours. From there, a local bus to the Chembra trailhead adds another 90 minutes. If you prefer a shorter overall trip, a cab from the airport is roughly 4¾ hours, but the bus is cheaper and you can stop at a place like Sterling Vythiri Wayanad on the way.
