Since October is a shoulder season, the evenings can drop to the low 20s, so a light sweater is handy for a sunset walk. If you’re staying at the Bloom Hotel Ranchi, the drive to the Uljhawan bus stop is about 35 km and usually takes around 45 minutes, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the quiet before the bus leaves.
