The Kinnerasani Sanctuary is about 25 km away, so a quick drive could get you there in roughly 30 40 minutes one way. If you’re only in Kothagudem for a few hours, a short walk around the station, a bite at the roadside stall, and a stroll in the small park next to the railway station give you a quick break without the extra travel time. If you do want a place to rest before your next train, the Lemon Tree Premier Vijayawada is only a short drive away and offers comfortable rooms for a quick nap.
