A taxi from the airport will drop you near the Science Centre in about 20 minutes, and you can also catch a local bus to Ranchi Bus Stand and then a city bus. If you prefer walking from the railway station, the route is only 2 km and flat after dark, so you’ll reach the centre around 7 pm. After the museum, a quick 8 km drive to Tagore Hill gives a nice sunset view, while Kanke Dam is a bit farther out. If you need a place to freshen up before heading out, Treebo Archie Regency is just a few hundred metres from the airport.
