You’ll need about an hour and a half to wander through the marble halls, stop at the sculpture gallery, and see the small private zoo without rushing. If you’re staying at Hotel 16 avenue, you can walk to Victoria Memorial in fifteen minutes, then hop on the metro for a quick Howrah Bridge photo stop. The walk to the memorial lets you enjoy the gardens before heading back.
