A good rule of thumb is to give Marble Palace about an hour and a half. That lets you stroll the marble halls, linger over the sculpture gallery, and check out the small private zoo without rushing. If you’re staying at Hotel 16 avenue, you can walk to Victoria Memorial in about fifteen minutes and then hop on the metro to Howrah Bridge for a quick photo stop.
