If you’re up for a quick walk, the Deer Park trail leads straight to the Udayagiri and Khandagiri Caves after about 1.5 km. The path also passes the Kalinga Stadium, where you can grab a coffee at Green land Tower Hotel before heading to the caves. If you want a different spot, you could stroll to the nearby Lingaraj Temple area, which opens at 6 am, for a quick visit before the caves open at 9 am.
