If you leave around 10 am you can hit the temple first, spend an hour or so, then drive the short 5 km stretch to Narayan Sarovar. The aarti usually starts around 5 pm, so you’ll have plenty of time to walk the lake, grab a snack, and head back for the evening ceremony. A quick stop at the temple’s free parking and a short walk to the lake keeps the half day tight and relaxed.
