The bus from Velneshwar station leaves every 30 45 minutes, so you can catch one that fits your layover window. If you leave around 10 am you’ll be back by early afternoon, giving you roughly 3 4 hours at the beach. A shared auto costs a bit more but you can drop off closer to the shore if you’re short on time. After a quick swim you could head back to the station and then to your next flight. If you need a place to freshen up before heading back, Kokanwadi Resort in Dhokamale is just under 18 km away and offers budget rooms and showers.
