If you’re staying at Aakash Rooms and Cottages, you’ll be about 500 m from the gardens, so a quick 10 minute walk takes you straight to the Rose Garden’s tea pavilion and then to Ooty Lake. The lake’s pavilion is only a few minutes from the garden’s main pavilion, so you can finish the flower show, grab a tea, and paddle on the lake before heading back.

I’m interested in exploring historical sites around Nuranang Waterfalls. What nearby attractions have historical significance? Is the 22 km distant Sela Pass worth a visit for its past military use?
