A good rule of thumb is to spend about 90 minutes inside the museum. That gives you enough time to walk through the interactive displays and the recreated village before you head out. From there a one kilometre walk takes you straight to Benaulim Beach, and the 3 kilometre stretch to Colva is easily covered by scooter or bus. The November to February window keeps the evenings cool, so a late afternoon beach walk is comfortable. If you’re staying nearby, Casa De Alnena is only half a kilometre from the museum, so you can drop by for a quick bite after the beach.
