If you’re staying near Dehradun, a quick option is to take a shared taxi from Jolly Grant Airport straight to Rudraprayag, then hop on a local auto that drops you at Bright End Corner. The drive from the airport to Rudraprayag is about two hours, and the final stretch to the viewpoint is only 20 25 kilometres. If you’d like a place to rest before the sunrise, Himalayan Comforts in Rudraprayag is a convenient option and only a short ride from the spot. The clearest, most vivid sunrise colours tend to appear from late November through February when the air is crisp and the clouds are thin.
