You might want to stay at the small guesthouse on the main road in Thangri. It’s only about a 20 minute walk from the river and most guests report a shared kitchen and a basic lounge area. From Kaza you can book a local taxi or a shared jeep that drops you at the Thangri stop the drive takes roughly an hour. This gives you a base closer to the water than the Echor Mud Huts while still being reachable with a short taxi hop.
