You could leave Shimla early, hit Saklecha, then head to Jogini Waterfall around noon. After a short meditation by the stream, drive to the base of Great Himalayan National Park for a ridge walk. On day two, start with a quick stop in Kasol, then finish in Tirthan Valley before returning to Shimla. For a stay in the city, Hotel Springfields is a solid choice.
