A quick tip is to shoot from the front tees of the 18th green early in the morning. The sun will be low enough to give a soft rim on the palace towers, and you can keep the greens sharp without stepping onto them. A 24 mm lens works well from that spot and lets you pull the palace into frame without moving too far. If you need a place to rest, the President Hotel is just a kilometre away and has convenient parking.
