Kempty Falls has a wider valley that lets you frame the waterfall with the surrounding hills, giving a nice depth. Gun Hill’s higher altitude gives a better angle for a sweeping composition, but the light is often softer in the early morning. If you’re after crisp shadows, the late afternoon can work, but the mist is usually most dramatic at sunrise. A stay at Hotel Vishnu Palace would put you close to both spots.
