Since the boats from Soochirac to Bangaram leave around 6 am, you could catch an early sunset on Agatti instead of heading straight to the reef. Agatti’s main pier has a small beach bar that stays open until about 10 pm, so you can grab a light bite and watch the sunset over the lagoon. If you want to stay on Soochirac for snorkeling, the northern reef is only a short walk from the beach and you can see a good number of fish before dark. For the next day, a local ferry departs from Soochirac’s pier at 6 am and returns by early afternoon, giving you plenty of time to explore Bangaram or Kadmat.
