If you’re heading out right after dropping your bags at the Capital O Siddartha Grand, try stopping at the Prakasam Barrage first for a quick photo op of the Krishna River. From there you can head to the Undavalli Caves, which are a short drive and a good warm up before the hill climb. The hill road gets a bit busy after 4 pm, so leaving the barrage around 3:30 pm keeps you on schedule and lets you catch the sunset at Kanaka Durga.
