A popular spot near the falls is the dhaba on the Badrinath Joshimath road; they serve thukpa and paneer bhurji, both vegetarian and locally made. On the way back, the small tea stall at the end of the road is famous for its homemade churros and fresh kheer. If you want a place to rest after the walk, Faraway Cottages in Joshimath has a modest kitchen that offers simple Uttarakhand meals.
