Mehtab Bagh is usually less crowded than the Taj Mahal, especially if you arrive right when it opens at 5 am. By sunset the numbers rise, but you’ll still see fewer people than inside the main monument. If you can, try the 24 hour opening slot and stay close to the Taj Mahal area; a short walk from Hotel Taj Resorts keeps you in a quieter zone while still letting you enjoy the garden’s view.
