If you’re staying at Citrus Chamber Mahabaleshwar you’ll be just a short walk from the temple, so you can head in after the main prayers finish around 7:30 pm. On weekdays the evening crowd tends to thin out more quickly than on weekends, so arriving after 8 pm usually gives you a calm, reflective visit. If you’re aiming to see the self originated Shiva lingam under the lights, try to be there when the lamps go up around 10 pm most people have already left by then.
