Rajrappa is a good choice if you can spare a couple of hours; the river view is especially nice in the early light. If you want something closer, the village of Jambusar is only fifteen minutes away and has a quiet 17th century temple and a calm riverbank that’s ideal for a quick stroll before the day gets busy. From there you can head back to Hazaribagh National Park or to a hotel like the Radisson Blu Hotel in Ranchi for a relaxed break.
