If you’re already in Poonch, the local bus to Jammu runs roughly every hour and takes about two and a half hours, so it’s a cheaper alternative to a cab. Just catch the Poonch Jammu service from the main bus stand and you’ll arrive at Jammu Tawi, where you can easily grab a taxi or a shared auto to the temple. This way you avoid the higher cab fare and still keep the day flexible.
